วิธีเลือกกะทิ
ควรเลือกซื้อจากร้านที่ใช้มะพร้าวใหม่สดไม่ใช่
มะพร้าวค้างโกดังที่เก็บไว้นานจนเหม็นหืน การ
ปรุงแกงด้วยกะทิสดนั้นทำให้รสชาติแกงหอม
หวานในขณะที่มะพร้าวเก่าเก็บ นอกจากรสชาติ
ของแกงไม่ดีแล้ว ยังอาจจะมีกลิ่นเหม็นอีกด้วย
